This textbook was developed during lectures on Palestinian Arabic that I gave between 2008 and 2012 at Professor Arnold's Chair of Semitic Studies at Heidelberg University. My task was to teach grammar in 30 double lessons spread over two semesters. A native Palestinian speaker then practiced what the students had learned with me in 60 additional double lessons. The book contains only the theoretical part of my teaching. As the editor Otto Jastrow correctly noted, it should rather be described as a "reference grammar" of Palestinian Arabic.
